Disability Pride

Living with Disability and chronic illness is normal.

Blaming, Shaming, Excluding, and Bullying tell us there is something wrong with us. Some feel that the way we think, feel, move, and experience is weird, ugly, or wrong.  This create barriers that make living with a disability difficult, degrading, and wear us down.  We question our worth, our abilities, our dreams.

The way you are is good, you are good. You and your dreams are valid and valuable.

These groups help you overcome, ignore, and change your environments so

you can succeed, live your best life, self-advocate, and take pride in yourself.

Most support group focus on adjusting to disability and chronic illness, and managing symptoms.

These groups teach you to say I matter,  my life is valuable, purposeful, and right for me
